“Without Logic Or Reason is an ongoing project in which I produce one painting per month, without a plan or idea. I usually start and finish the painting within 2 hours, and they generally go through many changes before coming to rest at their final version.
As most of my practice is very considered, carefully planned, and with the aim of producing a final result as close to what I planned ad sketched (which gives me great joy and satisfaction) - I wanted to create some space to play. I just give myself two constraints; the same size canvas, and to finish in one sitting”
All paintings are oil and acrylic on canvas, and measure 66 x 48cm (either orientation)
